Pet Day Highlights! 

It was pawsitively amazing at our annual Pet Day!  Our school came alive with wagging tails, curious whiskers, and lots of excited chatter as teachers and volunteer parents brought in their beloved pets to share with the students.

From fluffy bunnies to gentle dogs and even a few scaly friends, students got a chance to meet a variety of animals and learn all about their care. Our wonderful teachers and parent volunteers shared stories, fun facts, and important lessons about responsibility, empathy, and how to properly care for pets with our students and children from Chinese YMCA Kindergarten! 

A special shoutout to the amazing dog behavioural consultant, Freddie, and his pawsistant, Dustie, who joined our Primary 5 and 6 students for an engaging session! They demonstrated basic training techniques, explained dog behavior, and emphasized the importance of patience and consistency when working with animals. The students were absolutely captivated!

Thank you to everyone who made this day so special. It was a beautiful reminder that caring for animals teaches us kindness, responsibility, and respect for all living things.
